American Standard announced on February 1st that they have committed $1 million dollars over the course of the next 2 years to the Nature Conservancy to support awareness to the american consumer on how they can conserve water everyday and protect our drinking water.  Nature Conservancy is one if not the largest conservation organization and is committed to changing water usage and managing conservancy.

American Standard as we know them is one of the world's largest manufactures of kitchen faucets and bathroom faucets.  Don Devine, American Standards president says "Our objective is to reduce overall water consumption by more than 18 billion gallons not just this year, buy every year thereafter, through the installation of water efficient American Standard toilets, showers, and faucets.  This will save consumers money on water, reduce water treatment volumes and costs, and reduce the strain on our environment."
